We had a wonderful stay at Au Pied Du Lariat. Our purpose for traveling was a wedding nearby, and the remote location of the hotel was perfect for us. The pool was clean and refreshing, and we enjoyed spending time there. Ophelie provided exceptional service, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfasts were a highlight, with a variety of delicious homemade treats. The comfortable room, peaceful surroundings, and ample green space for our dog were also great features. We would love to return!
Totally recommend this hotel.

I chose Au Pied Du Lariat Bed & Breakfast specifically for its proximity to the landmark I wanted to visit. However, the free private parking was a pleasant surprise. It was convenient and ensured that I had a secure place to park my car during my stay. the availability of a continental breakfast every morning was a delightful start to my day.

We had the best time hiking in the surrounding areas and exploring the beautiful countryside. The views were absolutely breathtaking, and we felt like adventurers discovering hidden gems around every corner. Plus, the Cognac Golf Course being just 29 miles away was a total win for all the golf enthusiasts in our group. We had a blast and made memories that will last a lifetime!
If there was one thing we could ask for to make it even more fun for young party-goers like us, it would be a game room or a cool hangout spot where we could play some pool or have a mini dance party. That would have been the icing on the cake and taken our stay to the next level of awesome.

Wow, what an amazing stay! The attention to detail by the host was incredible. The rooms were spotless and comfy, and the homemade breakfast was so delicious. The peaceful surroundings were so serene and made for a perfect getaway. Also, having a clean and lovely pool was such a bonus. We will definitely be coming back!
Well, there were quite a lot of wasps buzzing around, which was a bit annoying. Hopefully, that's just a temporary thing.

The hotel had a charming and elegant decoration that made me feel right at home. The general areas were well-maintained and offered a cozy atmosphere for relaxing. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the hotel's accessibility, with easy access to all areas and no steps or steep inclines to navigate.
I would have loved to see more activities or amenities specifically designed for senior guests.

We were in Leoville for a wedding at the nearby Chateau, so the location of this B&B was perfect for us. The house itself is spacious and opens onto a beautiful, large garden. The family room was fantastic with a modern yet charming en-suite. The pool was clean and inviting, perfect for relaxing in the afternoons. The breakfasts here were beyond our expectations, with a delightful variety of cakes, pastries, and jams to try each morning. Ophelie, the host, was incredibly helpful and kind to us and our children. We would definitely love to come back again!
Can't recommend this hotel highly enough.
